Crucial Learning Accessibility Statement
Crucial Learning believes that we have a powerful role to play in ensuring our learning experiences and technologies adequately enable all individuals to access our content in a way that inclusively meets their needs. The skills we offer through our content, courses, and technologies are intended to improve the lives of all people.
To support this belief, we are working to make our content, courses, and technologies as accessible as possible for all people. We are also continually evaluating all Crucial Learning brand touchpoints, from marketing outreach and tools to technology vendors and suppliers, to ensure steady progress toward greater accessibility.
Our goal is to align our guidelines with the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. As we make changes, we will strive to meet Level AA standards, which is the WCAG’s recommended level of conformance (https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/) in conjunction with the standards set forth by the American Disabilities Act (ADA). We are working deliberately and diligently toward meeting these designated standards with an intentional focus on the following principles:
- Providing information and user interface components that are presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Developing user interface components and navigation that is operable.
- Ensuring content is robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
- Supplying information and instructions of operation of user interfaces that is understandable.
As part of this plan, we will begin testing and assessing our sites and resources to ensure we are meeting conformance standards. This is an ongoing process that helps ensure we’re upholding our commitment to accessibility and evolving our approach as standards become updated. We recognize that not all of our sites and resources are fully compliant with these standards today, and as we make changes, occasional accessibility implementation errors can occur.
