How to Keep Politics Out of the Workplace

  • Don’t make an authoritarian dictate. Instead, frame your goal as a means of fostering workplace harmony.
  • Come up with a friendly way to defend the boundary. Identify something everyone can do or say to remind each other of the new standard about politics in the workplace should politic conversations occur.
