- Flights Arrive | Kahului Airport
- Follow your arrival ground transportation instructions, either ride share or shared shuttle assignment.
- 40-55+ minute drive. Directions from the airport to The Westin.

- 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. | Hotel & Event Check-in | The Westin, Main Lobby
- Hotel check-in is 4:00 p.m. The resort will make every effort to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee an early check-in.
- Daily Amenity Access: Enhanced wi-fi, Shuttle services with multiple route offerings, movie theater, fitness class, game room/table games, Hawaiian crafts and activities.
- One time only: welcome beverage (Hale Mo’olelo bar), 2 souvenir reusable water bottles (in your room), bag upon arrival (see concierge).

- You are your guest are invited to a delicatessen buffet lunch before you leave for your small group excursions.

- Whale Watching | Sea Maui, Between Leilani’s & Hula Grill on the Beach Walk, 2435 Kaanapali Pkwy Kiosk 5520, Lahaina, HI 96761
- Walk (6 minutes) along the beach to check-in at 1:30 p.m. The boat will depart at 2:00 p.m. for a 2 hour ride.
- Bring an ID to take advantage of the open bar.
- Sign your waiver.

- Walk (8 minutes) to the nearby Ka’anapali Royal Course.
- Check-in 20 minutes prior to your tee time.
- Play 18 holes with up to 4 players. Golf carts included.
- Electric Bike Rental | The Westin
- Pick-up your bike rental at The Westin.
- Explore Ka’anapli and nearby cities using these bike path maps at your own pace and stop anywhere you’d like.
- Return the bike to the pick-up spot when you’re finished with your ride.
- Spa Treatment | Heavenly Spa by Westin
- Walk to the Heavenly Spa located on the Mezzanine level of The Westin.

- 9:15 a.m. | Check-in to Group Excursion | The Ulu Kitchen
- The Teralani catamaran will pull up right to the beach in front of The Westin. We’ll meet at the patch of grass in front of the Ulu Kitchen on the beachfront of The Westin.
- Guests 21 and over bring a valid picture ID. Open bar after snorkeling.
- Bring your own towels, sunglasses, & reef safe sunscreen.
- All guests need to be comfortable walking through soft sand to board the boat. Legs will get wet.
- 9:30 a.m. | Boat Departs for Premier Snorkel Sail | Ka’anapali Beach
- This 5-hour tour on a spacious catamaran takes you to some of the best snorkeling spots on Maui’s west coast, where you can swim with turtles, tropical fish, and colorful corals.
- Enjoy a delicious tropical breakfast, chef-inspired lunch, and open bar on board.
- Snorkel gear and flotation devices provided.
- 2:30 p.m. | Boat Returns | Ka’anapali Beach
- 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.+ | Small Group Excursions
- Zipline Adventure | Paradise Eco Adventures, 833 Punakea Lp, Lahaina, HI 96761
- Ride share (10-20 minute drive) to arrive by the 9:00 a.m. start time.
- You’ll be divided into 2 groups and rotate between touring the dragon fruit farm and riding the zipline up to 4 times each.
- After the 2-hour adventure, you’ll rideshare back to The Westin.

- Walk (8 minutes) to the nearby Ka’anapali Royal Course.
- Check-in 20 minutes prior to your tee time.

EXCURSION OPTIONS
April 14, 1:30-4 p.m. | Sea Maui
Board your boat directly from the beach then head offshore to look for pods of humpback whales making their winter home in Maui’s warm waters. Don’t forget to bring your ID to enjoy unlimited drinks from an open bar as you cruise. Sign the waiver.
April 15, 9-2:30 p.m. | Teralani Sailing
Our group will have an unforgettable adventure on this Premier Snorkel Sail. We’ll stop at 2 snorkeling destinations where you can swim with turtles, tropical fish, and colorful corals. Enjoy a delicious tropical breakfast, BBQ lunch, and open bar on a private catamaran. Sign the waiver.
April 16, 9-11 a.m. | Paradise Eco
Fly over dragon fruit fields on a fast and exhilarating zip line. As a bonus, all Maui zip line tours come with a free dragon fruit farm tour! One of the most unique Maui excursions, the farm tour is a fun way to learn all about dragon fruit and other exotic fruits and explore the beautiful grounds.
1+ hour | Heavenly Spa by Westin
Nestled in a serene, tropical environment, the Heavenly Spa provides a tranquil escape where guests can restore their minds, bodies, and spirits. Crucial Learning will pay for $100 of your spa treatment and the remaining balance will be deducted from a future paycheck.
4+ hours | Ka’anapali Royal Golf Course
Experience a delightful round of golf at the Ka’anapali Royal Golf Course, where lush fairways, strategic challenges, and stunning natural scenery create an unforgettable golfing adventure for all skill levels, framed by the majestic Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains.
2+ hours | The Westin
Your electric bike will be dropped-off at The Westin for you to ride at your leisure around Ka’anapali and the neighboring cities. Make as many stops as you’d like to the various beaches, restaurants, and shops. You’re free to ride where ever the beautiful scenery takes you.
FAQ
Can I extend my trip for personal travel?
You are welcome to extend your trip for personal travel!
You will just need to coordinate with Amanda to book your preferred flight. You will be responsible for the additional hotel costs and any difference in flight cost. You will also be responsible for getting yourself to the venue if you’re arriving early, or getting yourself to the airport if you are departing later.
How will expenses be handled?
Expenses from this trip SHOULD NOT be sent to Crucial Learning for reimbursement unless instructed to do so. Your flight, hotel, and group excursions will be paid for using company funds. If you extend your stay at The Westin for personal travel, you will be charged by the hotel directly. If Crucial Learning pays any portion of your personal travel, your paycheck following our return will be deducted that amount.
As part of the pay period prior to the trip, each employee will receive an additional $1,500.00 in their paycheck. This money could/should be used for the following:
- Meals/purchases while traveling to and from Hawaii
- Airport parking and other ground travel costs to and from your home airport (rideshare, taxi, mileage, etc.)
- Luggage fees, or other airline purchases
- Meals not provided by Crucial Learning while onsite
- Tips & gratuities (tour guides, drivers, housekeeping, etc.)
- Hotel incidental charges
- Other individual purchases associated with the trip
How will excursions be booked?
Any excursions included in the main agenda will be booked on your behalf and paid for using company funds. You’ll be prompted to select your small group excursions several weeks before the trip. During free-time, you are welcome to book your own excursions using the funds deposited into your paycheck prior to the trip.
What is included in my hotel stay?
Your hotel room will be booked on your behalf with a default check-in on Sunday, April 13, 2025 and a default check-out on Friday, April 18, 2025. You are welcome to extend your stay at your own expense. Our nightly rate is available three days prior and after the event dates. A Kukahi tower superior ocean view room costs $559.00 per night, not including taxes (17.962%) or daily resort fees ($35).
