You Are Our Priority
The health and safety of our clients, trainers, and staff is our highest priority so we are taking precautions to gather safely in January. In order to gather safely at REACH 2022 we are requiring all attendees, vendors, and staff to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test. We are also recommending masks for all attendees. In addition, we are actively following the guidelines from the CDC as well as the city of Salt Lake City, State of Utah, and policies from the Grand America in all our conference planning.

How much does it cost to attend REACH?

What is included in my registration fee?

Registration includes conference materials and admission into all BIG Idea keynotes and breakout sessions. It also includes all conference meals—breakfast, lunch, and the trainer appreciation dinner Thursday, and breakfast and lunch on Friday. Breakfast and lunch on Wednesday are included for 3-day attendees. All levels of registration include 90 days of access to an on-demand library of select BIG Ideas.

Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accomodations?

No. All air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.

I'd like to send more than one person from my company. Is there a group package?

Yes! When you register four or more attendees, you’ll receive an on-demand learner license for each person registered for The Power of Habit course (a value of $780 USD). Note that if you cancel your REACH registration, access to the on-demand course will also be revoked.

Who should attend REACH?

REACH is designed for Crucial Learning clients and trainers. We also welcome anyone interested in learning more about our company and courses, or anyone interested in personal development and trainer facilitation.

Do I have to be a certified trainer to attend?

No, you do not have to be a certified trainer to attend REACH. The conference will also be a valuable professional development experience for anyone interested in increasing their personal influence or changing human behavior, as well as anyone interested in our training.

Will the in-person sessions be recorded and available to view post-conference?

Yes! We will record most of our BIG Idea speakers. On-demand access to these sessions is available for 90 days after REACH for attendees in every ticket level.

Can I share my on-demand access with others?


Who should attend the REACH Labs pre-conference session and what information will be covered?

REACH Labs is an all-day pre-conference workshop designed to help trainers perfect their facilitation skills and improve their personal influence. This year we are pleased to offer three classes: The Power of Habit™ course, Getting Things Done® course, and Managing Bias. Certified trainers who attend the Getting Things Done or The Power of Habit courses at REACH can also certify in the course via the Fast Track Certification.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.

What types of payments are accepted for the conference fee?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Check, or PO. If paying with a Check or PO, the payment must be received at Crucial Learning on or before January 17, 2022. Is my registration transferable?

Yes. If you register and pay but are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to a colleague from your company until January 17, 2022. Please submit all transfer requests to

What if I have to cancel?

The following cancellation dates and fees apply:

If you cancel between November 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021, the cancellation fee is $250 USD.

If you cancel between January 1, 2022, and January 17, 2022, the cancellation fee is $400 USD.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after January 17, 2022.

Should you need to cancel due to a COVID-related health concern or diagnosis, we will work with you to address your specific case. All Crucial Learning staff, vendors, and third-party persons are committed to your health and safety. As we monitor changing COVID conditions, we will advise all registrants of any changes or necessary cancellations in a timely manner, and refunds or credits will be issues if necessary.

If you cancel, please be aware that you also need to make the necessary cancellation arrangements for hotel accommodations and/or any other services that you have contracted. What is the nearest airport?

Salt Lake City (SLC) Airport is eight miles from The Grand America Hotel (about a 10-minute drive).

How do I get from the airport to the Grand America Hotel?

The Grand America Hotel is located at 555 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Salt Lake City offers a number of transportation options, including the TRAX light rail (with a stop one block from the hotel), taxi cabs, and rideshare services. What kind of weather should I anticipate?

Snow is typical for Salt Lake City in January. The average high is 40° Fahrenheit, and the average low is 27° Fahrenheit.

What is the conference dress code?

Business casual attire is appropriate during the conference. Wear and pack layers!

Are discounted rates available at the Grand America Hotel?

Crucial Learning has reserved rooms with discounted rates at The Grand America Hotel. Premier rooms are $274 USD per night. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first-served basis, and discounted rooms are only available while the limited block lasts, so be sure to reserve your room early.

COVID-19 Concerns
Will there be social distancing, masks, and other covid health precautions at REACH?

Your health and safety are our top priorities. Currently we are confident we can safely travel and gather at REACH 2022. However, we are actively following the guidelines from the CDC as well as the city of Salt Lake City, state of Utah, and policies from the Grand America in all of our conference planning.

Currently the State of Utah has no travel restrictions and does not require masks or social distancing to gather at The Grand America. We are recommending you wear a mask, but it is not required for attendees. This policy is subject to change with short notice. If you are not fully vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask.

We are diligently monitoring the guidelines. Should guidelines change, we will post the most up-to-date information on our REACH 2022 website. We kindly ask and expect that all attendees also consider the health and well-being of fellow attendees and adhere to this policy, practice good judgement, and follow CDC guidelines and comply with all other rules, regulations and guidelines when traveling to and from REACH 2022.

All attendees and vendors will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test in order to attend REACH in Salt Lake City, UT.

Proof of vaccination can be a physical card or a photo of your vaccination card with your name and date(s) of your vaccination from a reputable clinic or professional medical office. In most instances, both vaccination shots are required to be considered fully vaccinated. Simply bring your card or photo of your card to registration when you check in.

If you choose to show proof of negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test, a physical copy or photo is also required with your name and date of test from a reputable clinic or professional medical office. We will not accept tests taken prior to Sunday, January 23, 2022. Simply bring your negative test or photo of your negative test to registration when you check in. All participants are required to acknowledge that they read and agree to abide by these protocols.

Any damages resulting from COVID-19, including deposits made for travel and illness related to contracting COVID-19 or any variants, are at your own risk, and Crucial Learning will not be held liable. Be assured that we REACH 2022 conference organizers are doing all we can to keep all REACH attendees (and all supporting staff) healthy and safe.

How do I download the REACH app?

The event app isn't available for download until two weeks prior to the event. An email invitation will be sent to all registered attendees once it is available for download.

  1. Download the Crowd Compass Directory app. You can find this on the App Store on iOS devices and the Play Store on Android. After installing, a new icon will appear on the home screen.
  2. Once you’ve downloaded the Crowd Compass Directory app, search “REACH 2022” within the app.
  3. Tap either Download or Install.
